Winter Adaptive Sports Programs in Jackson Hole

Core Values: Inclusive Outdoor Recreation
At TAS we believe in outdoor recreation that includes all abilities. We strive for equal access to opportunities to improve quality of life. That’s what outdoor recreation is about!
Inclusive
As members of our community, adaptive athletes should have the same access to outdoor recreation as everyone else. We believe that separate is not equal. By equipping and training outfitters, ski and bike programs and community organizers to include and plan for people of all abilities we strive for inclusion!
Outdoor
TAS began with a ski program, as most adaptive sports outfits do! We find that skiing, snowboarding, hiking, climbing, boating and biking bring us joy. Great friendships and skills are forged while participating in outdoor recreation. It is our mission to make outdoor recreation more accessible and inclusive of people with different abilities.
Recreation
It’s about fun! When we are outside connecting with our environment, learning new ways to cover ground and spending quality time with people we care about our lives and our health improve. TAS and other recreation providers are in the quality of life business.

Teton Kids Adaptive Skiing
TAS is grateful to work with the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort’s Adaptive Program, which features world-class instructors and programming that matches its world-renowned terrain and amenities. Kids aged 5-18 can be found in sit skis, etc. all over the mountain with huge grins on their faces.
Sled Hockey Sundays
Love the NHL and all the excitement that hockey brings? Well with the help of our fleet of 30 adaptive hockey sleds and specialized sticks you too can take to the ice on Sled Hockey Sundays. USA Hockey pays for the private ice time at the Snow King Sports and Event Center and the Moose Hockey team volunteers to guide participants and oversee safety. Come skate!

Adaptive Steep & Deep Ski Camps
Two adaptive ski camps in Wyoming allow advanced adaptive skiers to take their skiing to the next level under the guidance of local, experienced adaptive instructors. First Grand Targhee Adaptive Powder Camp offers a taste of copious amounts of its famous Champagne powder with knowledgable instructors showing off the secret stashes. Next at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, the highly-lauded adaptive ski team shows off the resort’s legendary lines, backcountry access, and copious vert all while giving practical tips to grow the athletes’ skiing knowledge.
