We are thrilled to announce that Audrey Lloyd has joined Teton Adaptive as our new Program and Events Manager. 📣

With her extensive experience as a part-time Teton Adaptive employee and adaptive ski instructor, Audrey brings a wealth of knowledge and exceptional talents to enhance our mission and deliver exceptional events and programs for the adaptive community.

Audrey Lloyd was born in the South, but fortunate to find her way to the Intermountain West in her early twenties. She holds a B.A. in Studio Art from Hendrix College in Arkansas, and worked several years as an art educator. She realized that a classroom can be made anywhere, and transitioned to outdoor education in 2016. She has worn many hats, but her favorites include trail crew worker, NOLS instructor, and adaptive ski instructor at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. She is passionate about having fun in the outdoors and sharing that joy with others.

As an experienced backcountry traveler and enthusiast, she has seen the profound impacts movement in the outdoors can have on individuals lives. She is dedicated to creating inclusive and accessible spaces outside in order to grow a sense of community, safety and opportunity for everyone.

Audrey officially started her new position with the team this week, and is excited for a summer plan full of biking, hiking and getting out on the water.

As we look forward to the slow but changing seasons here in Jackson, Wyo., we are eager to get together with people in our community, rekindle or make new connections and try new things. We are grateful to have the support of so many amazing volunteers, and know that many of our programs would not be possible without your help.

This summer we are excited to reach out and connect with our volunteers to touch base, say hello and work together to grow our community. A volunteer survey will be sent out to gauge what activities and dates align in your schedules, and we invite you all to spread the word and bring a friend to a Teton Adaptive event! Our programs are open to everyone, and we hope that this summer with Teton Adaptive is one to build connections, confidence and joy in the outdoors together.
