Tag along with Joe Stone as he takes one of our new board members for his first downhill mountain biking experience on a Reactive Adaptations Nuke hand cycle at our neighbor and partner Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR). Talk about onboarding! Luckily, the new board member, Jon Zendler, was up to the task and had a blast!

Joe has been testing the amazing downhill trails at JHMR during the summer and fall and has found that 90% of the trails are accessible for hand cycles and other adaptive bikes. He’s working with the mountain manager there to get the others to be accessible next year. It’s been great working on this project to make JHMR’s downhill mountain biking program inclusive to people with disabilities to match their adaptive skiing program.
