2023 Après Soirée To Go
The 14th annual Après Soirée happens again on Saturday the 14th of January 2023. The Après Soirée supports our in-house programs, training, equipment, and scholarships for people with disabilities.
Once again a ‘to-go’ version of the in-person event, this year’s theme is ‘Access Après Anywhere’ and features a bag with ‘after skiing’ essentials and merch perfect for tailgating with your inclusive crew!
It works like this:
- You purchase an Après To Go bag using the form to the right >>>
- On Jan 14th, you pick up your Après bag at our drive up outside Teton Adaptive between 2 and 5pm.
- You après anywhere with your crew.
- People with disabilities are grateful for your support in making outdoor recreation more accessible and inviting no matter how you roll.

Après Anywhere Bag – $140
Includes: a full ski or snowboard tune from REI, a handmade cutting board, a cheese serving set, charcuterie items (like cheese, salami, jam olives, nuts), Vertical Harvest micro greens, 460° Bread 1/2 baguette, Roadhouse The Phlow beer 4 pack, Persephone animal cookies, a Teton Adaptive wallet, and one (1) raffle ticket in a reusable BoJH bag.
Last year the funds raised at the Soiree made these numbers possible:
Number of scholarships awarded for adaptive lessons in the 2021/22 season out of 681 total at JHMR.
Number of Teton Kids program participants skiing weekly from Teton County School District in the 2019/20 season.
Total Ski Lessons
456 is the number of athletes supported at the Special Olympics.
Three is the number of Professional Snowsports Instructors (PSIA) AdaptiveCertifications for ski instructors at JHMR.
$2450 is the cost of one new ski bike donated by Teton Adaptive to JHMR’s Adaptive Skiing program.
What if I can't pick the bag up on January 14th?
You can pick it up at our office another time. Call 307-203-2223 to set up a time to make sure we’re there.
Will I be attending an event this year?
No. This year’s event is not an in person gathering due to Covid-19.
Do I have to do a Zoom call to take part in this event?
No! We won’t make anyone do a Zoom call. But, if you and your fam/friends want to apres together via Zoom or any other online meeting software, feel free. Cheers!
What is Givebutter? Is it safe?
Givebutter is a fundraising platform that utilizes the world’s very best payment encryption technology and security.
Payments are processed securely through the PCI compliant payments partner Stripe, which is where the funds are securely held until they are ready to be withdrawn via bank transfer. Givebutter does not touch donors’ credit card information and they take every measure to protect the personal information of users on the site.
Can I use GiveButter if I’m a vegan?
Absolutely! The mascot and name are dairy-based, but only metaphorically. You won’t ingest any animal products by supporting us through this giving software.
Can I participate in the event if I don’t live in Jackson Hole?
Um, yes, of course. We’ll adapt, as usual, and figure out a way to make it work!
