Let's Go Paragliding in Jackson Hole

A high-flyin’ fundraiser to introduce adaptive paragliding to JH in June 2021!

Help Us Bring Adaptive Paragliding to Jackson Hole

Snow. Check! Water. Check! Dirt. Check! Pathways. Check! Air? That’s where you come in!

Teton Adaptive seeks to get the first adaptive paragliding offering started in Jackson Hole, Wyoming so people with physical, cognitive and developmental disabilities can take to the skies in an instructional tandem flight, and beyond.

This will complement adaptive skiing, paddling, mountain biking, road cycling and other recreational opportunities for locals and visitors. We’ll be working with amazing partners Project Airtime and JH Paragliding, both organizations that have expertise in adaptive paragliding and providing paragliding flights to guests, respectively.

We need your help to fund this ambitious adventure so we can purchase a wheeled adaptive paragliding chair, to train paragliding pilots, for scholarships, and to launch it to the Jackson Hole community and its visitors.

We invite you donate what you can and be part of this high-flying venture! Thank you!

FAQ’s

What is Givebutter? Is it safe?

Givebutter is a fundraising platform that utilizes the world’s very best payment encryption technology and security.

Payments are processed securely through the PCI compliant payments partner Stripe, which is where the funds are securely held until they are ready to be withdrawn via bank transfer. Givebutter does not touch donors’ credit card information and they take every measure to protect the personal information of users on the site.

Can I use GiveButter if I’m a vegan?

Absolutely! The mascot and name are dairy-based, but only metaphorically. You won’t ingest any animal products by supporting us through this giving software.

Can I participate in the event if I don’t live in Jackson Hole?

Um, yes, of course. We would be grateful if you donate to bring paragliding to Jackson Hole! Then, once it’s ready (we hope this summer 2021) we welcome you to come fly with our partners JH Paragliding and Jackson Hole Mountain Resort.

Can I use my Venmo account?

Yes, choose the Venmo option in the online payment form above.

Will Teton Adaptive employees be facilitating the tandem flights?

No, Teton Adaptive employees will not be facilitating the tandem paragliding flights. The staff at JH Paragliding will facilitate the flights. Project Airtime and Teton Adaptive will work together to provide specialized training about working with people with disabilities to augment their expertise in flying. Teton Adaptive will donate the specialized flying chair and other equipment that we are fundraising for here!
