Odie Pierce and teammates Patrick Wright, Brent Tyc, and Nate Fuller climbed, crawled, pushed, and pulled their way through, over, and under to conquer the Ultimate Towner race course. This Teton Adaptive Sports sponsored team was the 1st attempt to support a paraplegic wheelchair athlete in this challenging course comprised of 25 obstacles over 4 miles. The TAS team completed every obstacle. Congratulations Odie, Nate, Brent, and Patty!
Teton Adaptive Sports is sponsoring an obstacle at this years Ultimate Towner Race this Sunday, May15 at Phil Baux Park in Jackson Hole. This race course is a series of 25 obstacles over 4 miles through the town of Jackson. The theme of the event is overcoming obstacles which fits right in with the adaptive world. TAS is sponsoring the Persistence Wall and a team. For the 1st time a wheelchair athlete, Odie Pierce will compete on the TAS team with support from Patrick Wright, Nate Fuller, and Brent Tyc.This promises to be a challenging, fun day. Teton Adaptive Sports and the Jackson Hole Moose invite all to the end of season Sled Hockey/ Adaptive Skate session this Sunday 3/20 at 2:30 to 4 pm at Snow King. Families/ friends welcome. A HUGE thank you for support from the Jackson Hole Moose Hockey Club for all their help and support this 1st season and to Presume Competence for their commitment to cover ice time. Sled Hockey will be back in the fall for season 2! Thanks everyone!
Another Sled Hockey/ Adaptive Skating session is scheduled for this Sunday March 6th from 2:30 to 4pm at the Snow King Ice Arena. End of season is fast approaching so come join TAS this sun.
