Kids to Parks Day
Kids to Parks Day is a National holiday that celebrates the great outdoors and promotes kids and their families to enjoy their local parks, national parks and public lands. Held at Rendezvous Park (R Park) which is a program of the Jackson Hole Land Trust (JHLT). R Park provides 40-acres of reclaimed public space designed to encourage all ages to engage with nature and inspire through open space interaction. TAS will partner with R Park, Rendezvous River Sports, Jackson Hole Public Art and Doug Coombs Foundation for this family friendly event. Through a scavenger hunt kids get the opportunity to learn about nature, explore their park, engage and play with one another, paddle across the pond, and become a junior ranger. This is open to all kids and their families and friends. No limit to attendance. The more the merrier!
